Freycinetia multiflora, (Syn: F.cumingiana) is native to Tropical Asia, Malaysia and Philippines. It belongs to Pandanaceae family, to which Pandanus odoratissimus (केवडा, केतकी, केया) belongs. It is a climbing plant and has aerial roots, which cling to support while climbing. It is a uni-sexual plant and as such, male and female flowers are borne on separate plants. |
