Description:
An epiphytic fern. Native to India and is common in Western coastal areas of Konkan, Karnatak & Kerala. In winter the fern goes dormant. Scale-leaves collect rain water & dew & direct the water towards the roots and the woolly stem. They can be grown in a pot with very friable potting mixture and also on tree trunks with help of some sphagnum moss.
